Carrie Mayle
Development Director
Carrie Mayle is happy to be back at Archbishop O’Hara
High School. During the 5
years that Carrie was away from O’Hara, she gained invaluable development
experience from Avila University (Kansas
City, Mo).
Carrie served as Executive Director of Development for
Avila where she was responsible for securing private
support from alumni and friends of the University while overseeing the annual
giving and alumni relations services.
Energetic, focused, and highly motivated, Carrie is a
results and goal oriented fundraiser as well as being a very personable and
caring individual. Her development skills began at Archbishop O’Hara
High School where she
learned the importance of interpersonal communications and team work. “I am very
thankful that O’Hara had faith in me and supported my early formation in
development. I enjoyed my years at O’Hara and I am extremely grateful for the
challenges and advancements that Avila
provided me. What I have learned throughout my career is that I have a passion
for helping nonprofits reach and exceed their fundraising goals. I look forward
to doing the same for O’Hara and for renewing old friendships, making new
friends and reconnecting with my O’Hara family.”
As Development Director for O’Hara, Carrie will secure
private support from alumni and friends of O’Hara with a focus on planning and
execution of a comprehensive annual giving program which includes restricted and
unrestricted support for on-going operations, scholarships, academic program
development, endowment and planned giving.
Carrie holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration
from the University of Missouri,
Kansas City and actively participates in the Council of
Philanthropy and the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
Carrie and her husband, Doug live in Lee’s Summit, Mo.
with their one-year-old papillon, Atticus. They are proud parents of O’Hara
alumni, William Mayle ’99 and Kristin Mayle Rae ’02.
